A 68-home build-to-rent development in Cambridge, completed in 2022 and operated by Vertex Living.

Present Made at Eddington is a 373-home purpose-built single-family rental neighbourhood on the north-west edge of Cambridge, beside the University of Cambridge's West Cambridge campus. Developed and operated by Apache Capital through its Present Made platform, in a joint venture with investment adviser Nuveen Real Estate, the scheme reached full practical completion in late 2025 and is billed as the UK's first purpose-built single-family housing development. Residents share a pavilion, gym, workspace, cinema room, rooftop terrace and play areas, and the scheme targets net-zero operational carbon. United Overseas Bank refinanced the scheme with a £125m facility in 2026.

Origins at Franklin Gardens offers 101 rental homes — two to four-bedroom houses plus a set of two-bedroom apartments — within the Darwin Green masterplan on Cambridge's north-western edge. Forward-funded by Aviva Investors with Packaged Living and built by Barratt, the fully electric homes are let and managed by Colby River.

Crossway Gardens is a build-to-rent development in Cambridge (CB2), comprising 61 homes. Further details on operator, completion date and amenities are not currently confirmed for this scheme.
