Urban Centric acquired the former Legal & General Cardiff HQ Office in Cardiff Central in 2022. Planning approval was received in April 2024, with construction set to complete in Q2 2026. Central Quay (Tai Afon) is a 718-home Build-to-Rent development on the former Brains Brewery site in central Cardiff, delivered across two high-rise towers of 24 and 29 storeys. Developed by Watkin Jones and owned by Legal & General, the scheme is being delivered in phases — Phase 1 reached practical completion in May 2026, with Phase 2 due to complete by March 2027.

Custom House Street is a 400-home co-living tower planned for central Cardiff, which won planning consent from Cardiff Council in June 2026. Designed by Rio Architects for developer Watkin Jones, the 33-storey building pairs compact studios with roughly 1,700 sq m of shared space — a residents' kitchen, lounge, gym and roof terrace, plus co-working areas and a podcast room. It replaces a previously approved 42-storey student scheme on the same plot.
