About
West Site is the third and final phase of Get Living's £1.5bn Elephant & Castle town-centre regeneration, approved by Southwark Council in March 2026. Occupying the London College of Communication plot once the university moves to its new campus at The Elephant, the £400m phase is consented for 507 build-to-rent homes (165 of them affordable), 452 student beds, a 20,000 sq ft cultural venue in the retained college workshop building, and further shops and commercial space. Construction is targeted to begin in 2028.
