1 development in Flax Place
A two-tower scheme of 10 and 17 storeys on Flax Place, on the eastern edge of Leeds city centre near Kirkgate and the Arena Quarter. It will provide 300 homes in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts above 63 underground parking spaces, with a gym, yoga studio, cinema, residents' lounge, co-working space, bike store and two roof terraces. Torsion Group is building the scheme, which Starlight Investments bought in December 2024 and topped out in March 2026. Starlight has since branded it The Millworks, after the flax mills the street is named for.
